Admiral Brent Scott, RADM retired

Admiral Brent Scott is the former Chief of Navy Chaplains, the senior executive leader to 2000 chaplains and enlisted program specialists assigned across the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. He is a retired naval officer having served in significant military commands and staffs spanning 31 years.

In addition to direct support to the Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations and the Commandant of the Marine Corps, his ministry was delivered aboard warships, with battalions of marines on operational missions, and to fleet and combatant command levels of the Indo-Pacific and Mid-East. Admiral Scott was pastor of two growing congregations in Oklahoma and the Denver metro area prior to his military service.

He currently invests in leaders through his speaking, coaching, and writing, with a platform of developing ministry to veterans at Patriot Hill, his family horse farm at the edge of Virginia’s Blue Ridge. He graduated from West Texas A&M and with advanced degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Duke University, and the United States Naval War College. Brent and his wife Marilyn have three children and eleven grandchildren.
