Dr. Klon Kitchen
Dr. Klon K. Kitchen, Jr. was born in Richmond, VA. He was ordained in 1974. He has his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Bible Theology, Doctor of Divinity, and Doctor of Biblical Philosophy degrees from International Seminary, Plymouth, FL. He graduated from a year-long residency in Clinical Pastoral Education in 1997 in San Antonio, Texas. He is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel who served in both Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. He is the past Endorsing Executive of CFGC, Inc. Klon is a sought-after speaker and author of many articles. Dr. Kitchen is currently writing a book on Adoption. Dr. Kitchen is a past Adjunct Instructor for The International Seminary and a Past Officer of the Concerned Christian Church. He is a Past Chair of the Executive Committee for The National Conference on Ministry to the Armed Forces (NCMAF), Past Member of Endorsers Conference for Veterans Affairs Chaplaincy (ECVAC), Founding Member and Steering Committee Member of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty (CALL), Lifetime Member of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and the Military Chaplains Association (MCA) and Lifetime Member of The United States Army Chaplain Corps Regimental Association (USACCRA). Chaplain Kitchen currently serves as a United States Secret Service Chaplain. Klon is married to the former Cheryl Annette Swimm and they have four sons and 14 grandchildren.
