Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and in its aftermath, Rev. Philips provided essential spiritual care addressing soul injury, disenfranchised grief, and compassion fatigue. She has served as a spiritual resource to the Supportive and Palliative Care teams and has ministered within the Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant, and Maternal Child Health service lines. Rev. Philips holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Old Testament Studies from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS). She is certified as a mental health coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), completed her clinical pastoral education (CPE) at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, and is board-certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). Her compassion and empathy are deeply rooted in her own experiences of spiritual struggle, grief, loss, joy, and celebration. Her theological and cultural integration reflects a commitment to inclusive, person- centered spiritual care. Tabitha resides in North Texas and enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, writing, and engaging with people from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
